Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Oqitor public website, partner application workflow, partner platform, and related business communications that link to this policy.

The policy covers personal information about prospective partners, current partners, supplier contacts, business contacts, platform users, and website visitors.

Information you provide

You may provide your name, company, role, work email, phone number, website, business type, account base, technology categories served, revenue range, referral source, and messages submitted through forms or business communications.

If you become a partner or platform user, you may provide account records, contact records, opportunity records, quote context, order details, supplier-option requests, commission questions, support requests, and related business information.

Platform and usage information

Oqitor may collect platform account identifiers, role and permission information, authentication events, device and browser details, IP address, pages or features used, form submission metadata, audit logs, and operational events needed to keep the platform secure and accountable.

Partner-platform records can include business contacts and customer-account information that partners submit for deal registration, quote coordination, order support, account protection, and commission reconciliation.

How we use information

Oqitor uses personal information to evaluate partner applications, administer platform accounts, operate partner workflows, coordinate supplier-option requests, support deal registration, manage quote and order workflows, maintain account protection records, reconcile commissions, provide support, improve services, secure systems, and meet contractual, accounting, tax, legal, and compliance obligations.

We may also use business contact information to communicate about the partner program, platform updates, policy changes, support matters, and relationship management.

Sharing

Oqitor may share information with service providers that host, secure, monitor, email, analyze, or operate the website and platform; with suppliers, distribution counterparties, and operational partners when needed for registered opportunities, quote coordination, orders, or commission reconciliation; with professional advisors; and with authorities or counterparties where required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.

Oqitor does not sell personal information.

Supplier and distribution workflow

When a partner submits an opportunity or supplier-option request, Oqitor may share business contact, account, service, location, order, or quote information with relevant supplier or distribution counterparties to coordinate available options and support the workflow.

Information shared in that context is limited to what is reasonably needed for the workflow, contractual administration, support, accounting, compliance, or dispute handling.

Retention

Application records are kept for a reasonable evaluation period and relationship-management period. If a partner relationship begins, related records may be retained for the life of the relationship and for the period required by legal, tax, accounting, audit, dispute, and contractual obligations.

Deal, order, commission, payout, adjustment, and audit records may be retained longer because they support financial, contractual, dispute, and compliance obligations.

Security

Oqitor uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including role-based access, authentication controls, audit logging, secure hosting, and limited access for operational needs.

No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. If Oqitor identifies a security incident affecting personal information, it will assess and respond according to applicable law and contractual obligations.

International processing

Oqitor is based in Canada and may use service providers or systems located in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. Information may be processed in those jurisdictions and subject to their laws.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to records Oqitor is permitted or required to retain. You may also ask questions about how your information is used or shared.

Privacy requests go to legal@oqitor.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.

Marketing communications

Oqitor may send relationship, transactional, platform, and policy messages. Where marketing consent is required, Oqitor will provide a way to unsubscribe or update preferences.

Children

Oqitor is a business platform and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookie usage is covered separately in the Cookie Policy, including essential storage used for website functionality and platform sessions, plus the visitor-controlled Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics measurement used on the public website.
